Native to the mountains and deserts of Central and South America, these unique Tillandsia really do need a place in your home.
These beauties get their nutrients from the air so plant feed isn't necessary. They even love to eat our dust...
Before, during or after blooming (depending on the species) they will start producing pups, most plants will produce between 2 - 8 pups. Each plant will flower once in its lifetime, how cool is that.
Look good in our shell houses, terrariums, or just hanging in cool spots around the home.
Plant size: Around 6cm in length
Pop them in Bright, indirect light.
Bath or spray well once every week, using collected rainwater or boiled down tap water. Shake off well to avoid root rot. Following each watering, they should be given enough light and air to dry in 4 hours or less.
Air plants are happy with a wide range of temperatures from the 50s to the 90s, however these cute little tropical guys will die in freezing temperatures.
Non toxic to pets and humans
