Recycled Packaging
At Gravel Pit, we care about our plants as much as we do the planet. This means we recycle all of our packaging wherever possible. We reuse cardboard boxes, polystyrene and void fill from our plant wholesalers and our friends over at Green Spirit Hydroponics. With this in mind, your plants, pots and all other purchases will be very secure and protected, but it won't be all snazzy in a branded box we spent £2 on. We also kindly encourage you to recycle the packaging from your order. 

We do our best to secure and package your plants fully, however we cannot be responsible for how our couriers handle them. We will always replace your products if they have been damaged in transit. Please get in touch with us to rectify your order as soon as you receive it if you do experience any problems.

No packaging costs for us, means cheaper products for you.

Shipping to Mainland UK
Plant and pot orders are shipped on a weekly basis on Wednesdays only, via 24hr delivery by DHL. All other items are by Hermes 48hr i.e prints, records and toys. Deliveries will be delayed by 7 days if live plant stock cannot be sourced. We will notify you by email if this happens. You will receive an email when your order has been shipped and an update from DHL via text or email, whichever you provided. 

Click and Collect
We offer click and collect online, to pick up in either store. Please specify at checkout. Once you have placed your order you will receive a confirmation email, then a ready to collect email or text will follow. Please do not come to the shop without having this.

Abbeydale Road Emporium: Friday and Saturday from 11.00am - 6.00pm and Sunday 11.00am - 4.00pm.

Leah's Yard Store: Wednesday to Sunday from 11am - 4pm and Sunday 11am - 4pm.

View our contact page for our store address information. Order before 1pm Friday for collection Saturday, if orders are made after this time, you can collect from the following Thursday. We kindly ask if you make an order, please try and collect it within the same week.

Local Delivery
We offer local delivery for up to a 3-mile radius from our Abbeydale Road emporium (S7 1FS). Deliveries are Thursday - Saturday 6.00pm - 8.00pm. We are currently unable to deliver during office hours.
