The Moon Valley Pilea or Pilea Involucrata is native to central and South America. Also known as the friendship plant, It’s foliage is a bright greeny yellow and is dimpled resembling the look of craters and valleys on the moon. A bushy indoor plant which leaves grow about two inches in length and no more than 12 inches in height. It doesn’t need much sunlight but it does prefer a humid environment.
Plant Care
Position
Tolerates medium light. Not suited for intense, direct sunlight.
Water
Water once or twice a week. Keep evenly moist, watering as soon as soil begins to dry out.
Temperature/Humidity
Tolerates average home temperature but prefers high humidity. Provide the plant with plenty of misting.
Toxicity
Known to be non toxic but always be cautious around pets and small children
