Dypsis lutescens, also known as golden cane palm, areca palm, yellow palm, or butterfly palm, is a species of flowering plant in the family Arecaceae, native to Madagascar.

Plant Care:
Light: Medium In direct light. Can cope with a couple of hours of brighter light but does not like full sun.
Water: It’s a tropical plant so keep the soil constantly moist and mist regularly. Use rain water or distilled water if possible.
Feed: Feed monthly Spring - Autumn using an organic plant feed. (Check our botanical supplies section!)
Toxicity: The butterfly palm is non toxic to pets & humans!
