Kalanchoe Thyrsifora, aka The Paddle Plant, are native to Africa and thrive in arid conditions. They are known for their ease of care, slow growth and interesting leaves and flowers, which bloom consistently throughout the year in as long as they're kept in the sun.
They come in all kinds of varieties and with colourful foliage and flowers in pretty shades like red, pink, yellow, and white.

Keep them in bright light, a south facing spot works great but not directly on a windowsill as the leaves with burn.
Watering
Let the soil dry out before giving them a big drink again, this plant is great for you if you tend to forget to water plants!

Your Kalanchoe will be fine in normal household humidity they're not too fussy.
Toxicity
They are toxic to pets and humans, t
he leaves and flowers of the plant contain a chemical compound called bufadienolide. Nasty.
