The Strelitzia Nicolai also known as 'Bird of Paradise, is native to Africa and Mexico. it thrives in full sun and in the wild, will produce flowers in the spring and summer but this can be harder to achieve in indoor conditions.

She loves to soak up the sun all day, so pop her in a south facing spot when she will receive plenty of light.
Watering
She likes moist soil, especially in summer. Give her a water when the top two inches of soil are dry, she will like a feed in the summer months too.

She likes a nice warm spot and no draughts.
She loves misting too.
