The Ficus Lyrata, commonly known as the fiddle-leaf fig, is a species of flowering plant in the mulberry and fig family Moraceae. It is native to Africa, where it grows in lowland tropical rainforests. It has theatrical green, leathery, shiny leaves which have distinctive, pale veins. A real statement plant for the home. 

It's also a great plant for filtering the air and easy to care for.
