The Ficus Lyrata, commonly known as the fiddle-leaf fig, is a species of flowering plant in the mulberry and fig family Moraceae. It is native to Africawhere it grows in lowland tropical rainforests. It has theatrical green, leathery, shiny leaves which have distinctive, pale veins. A real statement plant for the home. 

It's also a great plant for filtering the air and easy to care for.

Plant Care

Position

Keep him in bright, yet indirect light. 

Watering

Water him when the top few inches of soil are dry, they don't like to be overwatered and won't like the soil too wet. 

Temperature/Humidity

Keep away from draughty spots but normal household temperature is fine. He won't mind the occasional mist.

Toxicity

He's toxic to pets and humans.
